Atmos Energy Corp. of Dallas distributes natural gas and propane to more than 1 million customers in 13 states through its operating divisions - Energas Co., Greeley Gas Co., Trans Louisiana Gas Co., United Cities Gas Co., Western Kentucky Gas Co. and Atmos Propane Inc.
Atmos' roots date back to 1906 in the panhandle of Texas. Through various business combinations the company, then known as Energas, became the gas distribution division of Pioneer Corporation.
