Transgas Prague is the major gas utility of the Czech Republic. When the gas industry was restructured in 1994, Transgas became responsible for the purchase of natural gas for utilization within the Republic, and is currently selling the gas to the eight regional gas distribution companies in addition to major industrial concerns.
